Continuing weight-loss treatment started elsewhere
If weight-loss treatment was started elsewhere, it is working and the dose stays the same, we can issue a repeat prescription for one month.
This service may be used at Élan only once. To continue treatment, you must book a 45-minute weight-management consultation.
To issue the prescription, you share your current weight, your weight change over the last month and when you started treatment, and give consent for us to review your health data. The service does not include consultations with a doctor or nurse during treatment.

What the package covers
The package price covers prescriptions for the whole period, including dose adjustments where treatment requires them. This assumes we are in contact at least once a month to review how you feel and how your weight is changing. A single consultation fee includes the prescription issued at that visit; each further prescription or dose change requires a new paid consultation.
The initial consultation (150 €) is not included in the package price. Medicines, laboratory tests, additional investigations and specialist appointments are paid separately. Nutrition counselling and exercise support are not included in the packages.
